Smoothie with European canned peaches

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup European canned peaches (drained)
  • 1 ripe banana (fresh or frozen, sliced)
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (Greek yogurt or regular yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy such as almond milk, soy milk, or coconut milk)
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional, if using fresh banana)

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: If you're using a fresh banana, peel and slice it into chunks. Drain the European canned peaches and measure out 1 cup.

  2. Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the drained canned peaches, sliced banana, yogurt, and milk. If desired, add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness.

  3. Blend: Secure the lid on the blender and blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more milk to reach your desired consistency.

  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness level by adding more honey or maple syrup if necessary. Blend again briefly to incorporate any additional ingredients.

  5. Serve: Once the smoothie is smooth and well blended, pour it into glasses. If desired, you can add a few ice cubes to each glass to make the smoothie colder and more refreshing.

  6. Garnish (Optional): Garnish the smoothie with a slice of peach or a sprinkle of cinnamon on top for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.

  7. Enjoy: Serve the peach smoothie immediately and enjoy its creamy texture and sweet peach flavor. It's a perfect drink for breakfast, a snack, or a refreshing pick-me-up any time of the day.
